Entering her senior year at Steveston-London Secondary, Ethni is excited to serve as the External Vice Chair of Ascend 2026. From attending her first case competition — Ascend 2024 — and receiving 3rd place after getting destroyed in the finals, to coming back to win Ascend 2025, she has experienced firsthand the positive impact business case competitions have on students. Beyond winning or losing, Ethni believes that business case competitions are an essential part of a student’s educational journey and values how they challenge students to think on their feet, work as a team, and present to professionals under pressure — all while having fun along the way. Through Ascend 2026, she hopes to share her passion for business with like-minded attendees and give them the same experience Ascend had previously given to her. In her spare time, Ethni can be found missing all her shots in soccer and basketball, rewatching Modern Family, or training her new puppy. She looks forward to seeing everyone at Ascend 2026 this November!
